As a competitive equestrian, I myself spent my winter months throughout middle and high school studying remotely in Wellington, Florida. Throughout these physically, emotionally, and academically demanding months, I learned the hard way how to manage the student-athlete lifestyle. I found most common tutoring platforms for equestrians prioritized completing the remote workload over the substantive steps needed to have command over the material.  My own challenges motivated me to start Crimson Connections three years ago. Since then, I have pledged to help students have a more inspiring and productive remote learning experience. Now I am a rising junior at Harvard College studying statistics and physics. I spend my time advising and tutoring many young equestrians, in addition to serving as the Forum Editor of the Harvard Independent Newspaper and, of course, enjoying the rigors and joys of showjumping at high levels of competition.
